Every year ADINET celebrates Librarians' Day to mark the Birth Anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, father of Library Science in India. A one-day seminar is organized.

Monthly Lecture Series
ADINET has initiated monthly lecture series to keep abreast with the latest developments in the area of LIS.
The focus for the year 2008 will be on "Recent Trends in Libraries in the Digital Era". This will also give Library Professionals an opportunity to meet, interact and exchange information. (Lectures Details) 

DSIR-ADINET Programme on Women Entrepreneurship
ADINET in collaboration with D.S.I.R. (Department of Scientific & Industrial Research) Government of India conducted a Program on “Technology Development & Utilization for Women” (TDUPW). About one hundred women from Gujarat participated in this Program.

A Quiz Programme was conducted by ADINET for LIS Students of all the eight Universitiesin Gujarat on December 15, 2007. This program was sponsored by Shri Kanubhai Shah Vidya Nidhi.
